Marketing year shipments of all wheat was updated through Thursday, March 21, a time when an average of 80% of what turns out to be total demand has been exported (shaded area). The latest report showed shipments of all wheat at 654 mb, meaning the pace projection for total export demand would be 823 mb, largely unchanged from the previous week’s 824 mb (green line). This is on par with the previous marketing year’s reported shipments (blue line) but still more than 100 mb less than USDA’s latest estimate for this marketing year of 965 mb (red line).
